CFO
This Chicago position
is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the
organization’s overall financial plans and policies,
accounting practices, and external financial relationships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and
maintain strategic objectives for the finance department. Directs
and prepares financial analyses of operations for guidance of
management. Plans and directs new operational procedures to
obtain optimum efficiency and reduced costs including ABM analyses
and control reviews. Directs such functions as treasury,
budgeting, tax, accounting, investment activities and financial
operations. Directs preparation of budgets, financial
forecasts and audits. Directs the preparation of reports,
which outline company’s financial position in areas of
income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present and future
operations.
COMPENSATION The successful
candidate will enjoy a comprehensive compensation package that
includes a $175,000 salary, annual individual performance driven
bonus, participation in the long term compensation plan,
retirement plan, 401K plan, group health benefits including dental
and vision, short term and long term disability benefits, life
insurance, and holiday and leave benefits.
No relocation
is offered for this position.
SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate
with other senior level executives.
EXPERIENCE At
least 10 years of CFO experience. At least 3 years in the health
insurance industry.
EDUCATION MBA or CPA
required.
